SNATCH! 001 DAVID KENO-UPSIDE DOWN

The hot name on the Berlin underground right now is David Keno and the track that you are addicted to without yet knowing is “Upside Down”.
You are the first people to be getting this release as its been kept under wraps since label boss Riva Star first started playing it at the end of 2009. After also recently being featured on his recent Radio 1 Essential Mix, the buzz around it has now reached breaking point with enquiries now coming daily on where people can get their hands on it. It could be one of the most anticipated EPs of the year so far so it’s a very fitting release to start the label with.
Snatch! Is Riva Starr’s first label project and the aim behind it is to push new talents and well established forward thinking producers. Expect slamming fresh house cuts from some of the most exciting talent in the scene.
With 9 EPs lined up its going to be an exhilarating (joy)ride for the label’s first year. Hold onto your hubcaps.

DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE MIAMI 2010

British DJ and producer Riva Starr will mix Miami ‘10, the next edition of the Defected in the House compilation series.
Starr is known for his highly energetic mixing style, which perfectly suits the sunny vibes of Defected’s Miami mix. On both discs of Defected in the House – Miami ‘10 Starr playfully blends vocal tracks like MD X-Spress’s “God Made Me Funky” with leaner European house and techno cuts, like Nick Curly’s “Pujante” or Joris Voorn’s “Sweep the Floor.” The compilation also includes Starr’s recent off-the-wall collaboration with Nôze, fittingly entitled “I Was Drunk.”
